Hiking Time: 5-7 hours
After breakfast, we'll drive to Marangu Gate, the starting point of your trek. The trail ascends through dense rainforest, where you'll encounter a variety of wildlife, including colobus monkeys and exotic birds. The day's hike ends at Mandara Hut, where you'll rest and enjoy the lush surroundings.

Hiking Time: 6-8 hours
Today's trek takes you through the last stretch of the rainforest and into the heath and moorland zone. You'll pass by the stunning Maundi Crater, offering panoramic views of the Kenyan plains. Upon reaching Horombo Hut, you'll have a magnificent view of both the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks.

Hiking Time: 6-8 hours
The trail continues through the alpine desert, with sparse vegetation and dramatic landscapes. As you approach Kibo Hut, the summit looms in the distance. After an early dinner, you'll rest in preparation for the midnight summit attempt.

Hiking Time: 10-15 hours
The final ascent to the summit begins around midnight, with the goal of reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise. This is the most challenging part of the trek, as you'll navigate through loose scree and high altitudes. Upon reaching the summit, you'll be rewarded with spectacular views from the Roof of Africa. After celebrating your achievement, you'll descend to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.

The final day of the trek takes you back through the moorland and rainforest to Marangu Gate, where you'll receive your summit certificates. A vehicle will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Moshi. Celebrate your achievement with a hot shower and a comfortable bed before your departure.
